I think all distance runners, in fact all people, should squat when they go to the bathroom. Just think of all those dirty toilets than you are putting your rump on. It's quite sickening to think about actually.
Think of all the benefits that can be had when you squat while using the toilet. You quads will grow bigger the more you squat. The pain you feel from squatting will force you to use the toilet faster, thereby allowing you to get back to your daily activities sooner. Also, if you train your body to go to the bathroom faster, then you could just stop in the woods in the middle of your run for a quickie.
Oh man, just so many positives, and not so many negatives.
