Surprising to say the least. Centro had nothing the last 200.

Who?
May have something to do with that early pace up front.
The writing is on the wall. Centro is finished. Next year he'll be struggling with Manzano just to make the final at the Olympic trials. Andrews his on his way to sub 3:30 by the time Rio rolls around.
In fact, Centro was smoked by the entire field.
3:39.something, which is why many people said that Monaco's track is short.

You think the track is 60-70 meters short bus?

Not a bad race for Andrews. He ran 3:35.52 and his pb is 3:34.78.
Here's a stat for you. Andrews has only broken 3:40 4 times in his life but 3 of those have been in his last 3 races.

he never broke 3:40 before running 3:34?
He said 3 of the 4 so his statement makes sense.
I think Robby has way more potential than 3:35. He needs to play it less safe and go for it.
Today's run was ok for me. Centro won't quit at Worlds so beating him means nothing.

I hope he takes this advice. I honestly think he has kicking ability enough to get himself into the final safely, but he's gonna end up removing himself from any type of contention with his "wants to see what the rest of the field is doing" mentality and bad racing intelligence in moments of surges. Vig better really buckle down and hammer this in because Robby needs to recognize he's truly in adult waters now.
Pace up front? Souileman was right there as well. Didn't see him stink it up with a 62 sec last lap!
Not all that surpising. Andrews has been an UNDERACHIEVER thus far. The guy has major wheels and if he dedicates his efforts to the 1500, the results could be sick.

Nothing except an appearance fee.
He's a one trick pony no guts
Robby has blinding speed when the race goes the way he wants it to go. We'll see if his fitness is such that he can get through 2 rounds of championship racing AND be able to turn on the gas in the final the same way he does in a 3:36 sit and kick.
