Defund it now and send all the money to crisis pregnancy centers that actually do things to help women. There is no place for this at all in a civilized society. Hitler would have loved to do this.

There are still people defending PP on this. I don't get it. Lies? Editing? The full videos are out there. Is it CGI?

- Women who decide to get an abortion (for a variety of reasons) choose to donate tissues for research. Planned Parenthood makes no money from it. Yes, I know the videos mention money changing hands and the some of the PP yahoos are incredibly cavalier in the way they talk about it, but $75 or $100 is not, repeat, not revenue enhancing for PP. It's to cover their costs. Given the typical costs in the medical industry, it's more than likely under-compensating PP.

- Sure, especially when they show a 7 month old fetus. Very few abortions occur at that stage. Good luck finding a third trimester termination provider…even in cases where the mother's health is in jeopardy. True story: happily pregnant mom to be gets diagnosed with aggressive estrogen receptive breast cancer in 2nd trimester. Decide what to do - allow cancer to metastasize and spread, or get an abortion. Pass judgment all you want, but until you have to choose between two horrible options, you don't fully appreciate what it means to have a Washington DC politician assume they know better than you.

Abortion is a small part of what Planned Parenthood does. 97% of their work has nothing to do with abortion.
