He was joking. However this summer will be the coldest in over 50 years in Finland. But that's just one country, not the globe. On a global scale this year's June was the hottest since records began 135 years ago.
Global warming predictions = more extreme weather in the short-term, warmer average temperatures in the long-term.
The North-East US has had as many extreme winter storms since 2000 as it had in the previous 150 years.
The adjusted temperatures show this summer to be the 6th hottest for Finland. You non believers are just so cute.

Those who use/"believe in" land temperature readings are living in a different world from those who use/"believe in" global satellite data and believe the land data is "cooked"/compromised, etc.

CA/NV are in there, what?...fourth year of drought and they are quickly turning into a dustbowls. Guess what? I just came back from AK and the people who live there say the glaciers are melting faster than a kid in summer sucking on an Otter Pop. No, no, no it's a liberal lie. There was a time when being "conservative" didn't conflict with science and logic. That time apparently has passed in the US.

The adjusted times show me to be the 3rd fastest female marathoner in all of recorded history.
Finland was once a land of proud and stout barbarian folk who could fight bears and ice fish with their bare hands. The air sparkled with kantele music as they wandered from swamp to swamp building log cabins and singing around midsummer bonfires.
Now they are a land of fat, manically-depressed cubicle dwellers living in Stalinesque square buildings in bleak urban dystopias, drunkenly watching hockey, drowning their sorrows in black metal, and randomly cursing each other for no reason.
They are still better than Swedes though.
This is joyous news!
