I'm going into my senior year of hs and have always ran around 25-30 mpw, so this summer I started increasing and I'm up to about 36. Yesterday I noticed a little bit of pain on my Tibia (I honestly don't know if it's pain but it's just uncomfortable. So today I went on my long run and noticed t he entire time and I even stopped every mile and touched the spot and hopped because I was scared its a stress fracture. There was no pain at all doing in touching it but it did feel a bit weird when I hopped.... Now that I haven't ran in a few hours, it still does not hurt to the touch at all no matter how hard I press, but when I ran it definately felt like a centralized point and not down my whole shin or anything. It also feels like there is definately a bump where the pain occurs when I run, but absolutely no pain. Could this be the start of a stress reaction or is there anything else it could be??
