I fell on a slick patch of mud about a week ago and landed hard on the right side of my chest. Now I've got all the tell-tale signs of brusied and/or cracked ribs, although my symptoms seem to be less severe than a lot of what's described on the internet. Certain movements are quite painful, but I can usually breathe fine without pain, even while running.
Is it ok to keep running with this injury, or do I need to lay low to let it heal? FWIW I ran 14 miles of trails yesterday and didn't have a big problem, just minor discomfort
