That's just Rothsteins awful personality. Nothing to do with Oiselle.
If Rothstein has an awful personality, it has a lot to do with Oiselle, since she is an employee/representative and reflects their business culture. Certainly it is consistent with tweets by Bergesen, Fleshman st al.

Hey, great news, a runner I know received an email to let her know for $100 she could be part of Team Oiselle! (Oisselle Volee)
For that 100.00 she gets a singlet and a spike bag.
I got that email, but I'm no longer in Texas. I don't understand the concept of "applying" to pay a company to advertise for them, and I work in marketing. That said, I do like Oiselle clothes, but just a bit above my price range (same for Lululemon).

Yes, you and 100's and 100's of other women got that email.I work in marketing too and the concept is rather easy.Wear our overly priced athletic apparel so it can be seen in places and by people who otherwise wouldn't know that the brand even exists...easy concept. In the process, make Sally and Kara Goucher money.They then are hoping to get x amount of hits on it that would be big zeros if not for using simple Marketing 101 strategies. Whether you believe it or not, they aren't selling enough and Kara Goucher cannot save them. I'm 27, have broken 3 hours and would not wear Oiselle and support "that" owner and her crew. I've read too many negative and rude comments posted by them and have no problem watching their ship sink.Btw, I agree, Lululemon and Oiselle are both over priced. My little niece wears Lululemon and I think it's a huge waste of money. MW

I work in the events/trade show industry, and this is such a sleazy tactic. Usually conferences will preclude nearby venues from renting space to non-exhibitors. Bullshit that the Oiselle rep didn't know about the event.
I'm a chic and want to like oiselle stuff because it seems like the total package of quality construction, thoughtful design, and still kind of cute without being frilly, but I can't get over these shenanigans.

Didn't the Oiselle girls "Threaten" Mary Saxer and then fire her for having multiple sponsors?
The part that annoying me about Oiselle is how their ambassadors spam retailers with fake reviews. For example, on the Mountain Equipment Co-op site there are reviews by ambassadors from San Diego who are not members since MEC is a co-op and not in the U.S. While it's possible some Americans have membership, when you are a member it notes in in the review.

The board of directors are open at MEC if you have issues with a product they carry. e-mailing a link to Oiselle parasite marketing tactics ( http://digital.turn-page.com/i/536916-running-insight-july-1st-2015 ) is stuff they review. See page 8 . This is something I like with MEC, is that products they carry must meet ethical business standards.

How big can this company even be? How can they even afford to sponsor athletes? Running apparel sales are in the tank even for the bigger companies that make product for both genders. Can they even do $10 million dollars in gross sales? Even with that how much profit can they make?
They're not and did gross less than 10 million in 2014. Goucher went with them hoping to do as many appearances as possible and push the brand name at every opportunity. The owner loves this, of course, and is allegedly willing to give her a percentage of $$$ from profits and a salary, if what has been printed is true. Goucher saw the possibility of big $$$ and went for it claiming that Sally liked her and wanted to be her friend, yet she said she loved Alberto in an email. What does this all mean? She's done running even remotely close to well and is marketing a new (newer) athletic apparel company in hopes of making some serious cash. Come Fall she'll be at every major running expo around.The company is not that big.
