2024 Olympics? No thank you
2024 Olympics? No thank you
No thanks. Let 'em bribe someone in Europe or Asia.
NO
no
NO Olympics in Boston
No, let the IOCC find a permanent home for the Winter and Summer Games.

Oh God no!!!
Ferguson, MO.
The hitchhiking robot that crossed Canada in less than a month, and then toured Europe, was stuck in Boston for 7 days.
Maybe the good people of the Commonwealth will stone the athletes buses.
Like they did to the kids getting bused in the '70s.
Boston for the Olympics? No, please.
They belong out west if they belong anywhere at all.
Yeah, they should've sent rounds down range instead of throwing rocks. Hindsight is 20/20.

Yes.
Boston handles the marathon every April.
Hopefully there will be a stripped down version of the Olympics and limit it to track and field events as it was meant to be in the beginning.
Dump the silly stuff and get back to the basics.

^ the IAAF World Championships already serves this purpose, and TV viewership is minuscule compared to the Summer Olympic Games. Spindly idea.
Looks like the USOC might take Boston's bid and give it to LA:
LA is welcome to it.
Designate an Olympic Island forever. One time investment, easier to secure etc... Hold the Doped Olympics one week and the real Olympics another. No to Boston and LA. Don't know if America actually has a suitable host city.
If local taxpayer investment is minimized, I'm all for it. Why wouldn't I be?
Why not having Chicago throw their hat into the ring?
They had enough of a plan to make a presentation for 2016.
They could try again.
That may be but label the IAAF World Championships the Summer Olympics and it will get the ratings.
The name is the thing.
The Summer Olympics is a name people understand.
The common man has never heard of the name IAAF World Championships.
Dump judo, kayaking, baseball, synchronized swimming, and the other stuff that adds to the cost of hosting the Olympic Games.

And when the taxpayers in L.A. discover they are on the hook for 6-10 billion, I suspect some resistance will be generated.
Meanwhile the city's grandfathers just can't wait to plunder the city's coffers once more.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
