Very strange race plan..
Very strange race plan..
what a boss
The replay showed that somebody stepped on Kiprops heel, so he lost all speed.
Toying with the field. Too easy for him
That was horrible!!! I never want to watch him rAce again. That was not racing it was a disgraceful mile! I am ashamed to watch that bull crap! Not cool not fun to watch. Go clap your hands somewhere else. Tasteless!
That was awesome. I prefer to think he toyed with everyone instead of getting stepped on. What a boss.
Centro got boxed which is rare.
Well, I would like to start out by saying I hope that you can find something to change your negative outlook on life.
This was your typical, very tactical race, and as many have said before me, Kiprop was simply playing with the field to see if he could win the WC in any situation. Fun race to watch for the sole reason of being able to see the incredible shape Kiprop is in. If you like fast races, I am sure we will be seeing many from Asbel in the near future.
Kiprop is out of this world good.
Wow your all brain washed! I can't believe you thought that was fun to watch. Sure I get it kiprop wowed everyone and ooohhh he got stepped on, like we all haven't been stepped on and continued running with ease. Give me a break, I don't care what he did out there Today it looked like crap. Celebrating with 10m to go. Come on man!!! Call me old schooled but if you don't humble yourself,.... You get humbled. "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" LRC loves that quote right? Well guess your all brain washed by the Kenyans now.

Thanks!
Maybe I am crazy. But I like to see people race all out. His 3:26 was amazing. You realize in a non championship race in front of a sold out crowd in London with PAID pacemakers he ran 10 seconds slower than last weeks race (equivalent) with paying customers wanting to see a chase for a record. This is not what the people wanted. Save the tactics for Beijing. It was week. But like I said maybe I am crazy. Maybe I am overreacting. But I still think y'all are brain washed if you that race was fun to watch. It erked me to watch that.
You have no idea what happened.

I loved it. Asbel knows he can run from the front and out-grind everybody. If he makes it fast, no one can beat him.
But now he wonders, if its slow, and it turns into a 400m sprint, can I beat Centro and Souleiman? So he goes to the back, lets other people pick the tactics. It slows, the freshen up, get ready for the 400m sprint...and he effortlessly floats past all of them, opens a huge gap, then shuts it down while celebrating. A statement to everyone, himself included, that no matter the tactics, he will win.
I loved it, and if I was in London, I'd feel like I got my money's worth out of the ticket.

How do you know "what the people wanted"? Perhaps the paying fans you're so worried about enjoyed the race.
