I've been training this summer to improve my 5 time. I only have one year of cross country and my best time was 18:40 with about 35 - 40 miles a week during cross country. I've been moving my milage up since late May and I'm around 45 miles a week, trying to hit around a little above 50 - 55 per week, along with a speed workout and a hill workout a week. I just get antsy a lot because I still run around an 8 pace and usually I read stuff above guys who run my milage but with faster paces. I get concerned l that I'm reaching a limit in my training because my pace hasn't increased or I don't feel fast
