Is he back in training or still injured? Is he planning to run some fall marathon?

Bump
I thought the latest was, when he pulled out of London, he would be back in 2016.
“I desperately wanted to run in London this year, but the injury to my Achilles has not healed sufficiently for me to compete against such a great field. I hope to be back in 2016 and ready to challenge the best marathon runners in the world in London,” he added.

I think he made a mistake in trying to fast-track his marathon training, booking in Dubai before London straight after Chicago. Perhaps taking a longer-term view of it now and getting on top of that injury.
I read that as he will be be back in London in 2016, not out of running until 2016. Hate to say it, I think he's done. Roughly the same age as Farah and can't sniff his jock now. Sad.

Laughable.
Mo can keep swimming around in the 5/10k kiddie pool until he dries up. When he switches to road full time Kenenisa will be there ready to stand up in that ass like he always does.
Yes maybe he just meant London in 2016, I'd certainly like to see him back this year.
Must say, I'm doubtful about his potential now, despite being a big fan. His performances have been good but not outstanding against the current competition - plus, at what price? He's getting injured easily training for a 2.05-ish marathon. Difficult to see him easing back into it and then going on to 2.03, 2.02 etc. Sad fact is he peaked years ago.
Mind you the comparisonwith Farah doesn't hold up. Farah's no marathon runner (2.08?) and Kenny beat in the Great North Run, ran him ragged.

Yes I mean he blasted him with his kick in the great north run and embarrassed him in his own country and then crushed his marathon debut but apart from that he can't sniff his jock.

-^^^^this.
He's rehabbing his leg while throwing darts at his Gebrselassie dartboard.
Marathons have started to announce the elites and no one has said a thing about Kenny. There's still time but...
C'mon you can do better than that.
