No way. That's just the world university games. Nike don't care about that.
Retribution for letting Germans run in Nike.
I still don't get how Adidas can just care so little about their home countries' athletes.
Pretty much anyone I can think of is either Nike, Puma, Asics or New Balance.
The only Adidas athlete in Germany I can think of is Florian Orth... I think.

Adidas sells tons of shoes and apparel in Germany. For some reason, Germans don't mind the ugly design that adidas brings to the market year after year.
It's the US where adidas is having trouble. Nike has the more sophisticated design and adidas is losing ground,
So instead of investing in some better design, they up their marketing in the states. Probably a mistake.
