I wasn't being xenophobic.
I was stating the reasons why Centro would be in the field. Him beign American is a factor for a meet director whether you like it or not.
Do you relalize like for IAAF road races to get a certain level of certification (gold, silver, etc), you must have so many people from a certain region.
As the only person from North or South American from the field, it's a relevant fact. You may not like the fact that place of birth matters to meet directors but it does just as you may not like how race impacts college decisions but it does.
I find it ironic you used the word xenophobic as it's a term normally used by liberals. So the same logic applies to affirmative action in admissions and I'm sure you love that. I point it out here and you get mad?
