Haven't actually listened to it yet, so maybe Kevin and Jason are trolling us, but it looks like Epstein is coming on and they will discuss the ProPublica piece and Alberto's rebuttal.

I'm bumping this because I think people will be interested.
- Epstein says USADA is not investigating the chart from 2002 indicating Rupp was on prednisone and testosterone. It is outside of the statute of limitations.
- says he does not know what Kara is planning on revealing, but did say there was a good bit said about Alberto's character that does not involve PEDs...
- he is always a good interview and clearly loves the sport.
- had a good answer for "do you think we should just allow all PEDs?"

Couple that with Kara's remark "yes there is a reason that adam doesn't like Alberto, and now I'll have to reveal it since I've been called a liar"
It was a really great interview, especially for those who want a more nuanced take on the whole situation (compared to the vitriol that's constantly flying around here).
He also gives his thoughts on Evan Jager's performance in Paris, as well as doping in track vs other sports
Interesting to listen to. Nothing really new however if you read his article and response to Salazar. Mainly just confirms and clarifies things.
I didn't know he was a big follower of the sport. I would have been interested to hear his personal opinion on Goucher's allegation that Rupp's AR in Brussels was basically too good to be true.
He did use Jager as an example of a guy who has had a long, steady progression over the past 8 years or so. Very similar to Rupp is this regard, but without any of the suspicion.
I used to be a big fan of Epstein with his work on breaking the Armstrong case and the excellent "Sports Gene" book (an enjoyable read which I highly recommend).
In retrospect the Lance Armstrong reporting had a lot of innuendo and little hard evidence, just like Epstein's reporting on Salazar/NOP, but in the Armstrong case where there was smoke there really was fire. Epstein and Selena Roberts deserving credit for helping break the Armstrong case.
Unfortunately, first with Penn State and now Salazar/NOP Epstein, Epstein is falling into hatchet job journalism where he is trying to relive his Armstrong success, but without facts and substance and a villain the equivalent of Armstrong. Epstein should follow journalism ethics and standards if he wants to be taken seriously going forward.
