9:05 for 3000m!!!! Still not quite her potential, but she looked really relaxed. Given that she did it in poor weather conditions and the fact that she's probably jet-lagged is probably worth at least another 10 to 15 seconds!!!

Probably more like 25 to 30.. I'd say she has the potential for 8:35 if paced perfectly.
Hope she shakes Salazar loose...
I predict she's going to medal in Beijing
Isn't her time just a tad faster than the High School record? Is it really that great?
I knew some weeks home with daddy doctor would help. Great!
And nobody else in the race had to deal with the poor weather?
The 2 Americans who beat her are not possibly jet lagged?
She got beat petty bad by people in 2013 she would handle no problem. while it might be a step forward for the year she is still way off from where she was 2 year ago.
Cain ran 9:02.10 indoors in January, 2013.
Kerri Gallagher ran 9:32.41 in the same race.
Fast forward two and a half years and Kerri is going to World's. Cain is finishing third at Cork.

As long as she looked relaxed, she could run 10 minutes and people would still praise it.
Totally misunderstood headline, was expecting pics. NVM!
There we go.
But I prefer a Sarah Brown's back thread.

Oh, my!
We seriously need a NB sponsored women's calendar!
Sarah Brown's butt can be on December. Merry Christmas everybody!
I'd buy that for a dollar!!

Fast forward one year and Cain is running 8:35 and Kerry 9:10.
I think I'll bookmark this thread and see what's up in a year's time. It's a damn safe bet that Mary isn't running 8:35.
