Just cross training in July with 0 running. Plan in August and September is to continue to cross train and gradually increase running mileage. Then in October start a focused build toward CIM in the hopes of an OTQ time. Is this delusional? Tell me your comeback story where you overcame far greater obstacles.
Background: injuries are a really pissed off piriformis thanks to a very strained Achilles on left side and tendonitis on of the peroneal tendon on the right side. My marathon PR leaves me three minutes shy of an OTQ time. I am not a lifelong runner with thousands of miles under my belt. Just started running competitively 3 years ago and am 38.
