If I decided to do only one workout on the same day of the week, every week of every year. What workout would that be and I'm trying to improve my 800m time? I'm 30 years old.
(I understand this is not the most optimal way of training for the 800m). I will only do one long run and one track workout every week. What is the best track workout?
Here's what I'm thinking:
4x200m
4x400m
4x200m
Try to decrease the recovery time between repeats and sets throughout the year. I will do this once a week and a long run on another day of the week. What do you guys think?
