In a world of Title 9 gloom and budget cuts, a school adds track for men and women.
It can be done!
Kudos, you crazy senesi!

I love how a team gets cut and the boards blow up, and people donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep it afloat, but when a program is added, the thread goes straight down the boards without a post.
Maybe that's why nobody in athletics administration could give a crap about keeping these programs! Because they only show up to complain and whine when things don't go their way.
Congrats to Siena, maybe there is hope for us all.
Big congrats to the men & women at Siena, especially Coach Kenworthy. He seems like a great fit for what is one of the better schools in the region/conference.
The MAAC had Canisus and now Siena in only the past 2-3 years add indoor/outdoor...exciting stuff!
Have you read their press release? They only intent to compete in mid-d and distance. This is a wildly regressive step for track & FIELD. These end runs around scholarship limits for XC by having a token indoor and outdoor schedule is a joke.
This is why our sport is going down the toilet.
