really enjoying the game, but how do they keep time?
They just added 3 minutes. Is it 80 minutes per game?

Somehow they do a poor job timekeeping. 90 minutes of regulation, plus stoppage time at the end of each 45-minute half. This added time is supposed to account for time the ball has not been in play, such as forinjuries, substitutions, goals, etc., but it's often very dubiously calculated
Thanks, I was wondering where that came from.
I'm looking all over for different clocks, but I guess nobody really knows.
It would be more interesting if they just counted down so they could have epic buzzer shots.
Also the trophy was so wimpy. They should have an enormous trophy like the Stanley Cup. It's the pinnacle of the sport for crying out loud.
90 minute hourglass that is placed on the sidelines. People randomly knock it over and place it upside down etc.

On some level that sounds exactly right.
