Answer= CPT
Brannen.
Levins took quite a spill after crossing the line yesterday in the semi. Is he ok?
I say Levins, CPT, then Brannen...
watch is live at 9:15pm EST here: athleticscanada.tv
After seeing Levins' tumble in the semi, Al Sal petitions to have the other 12 guys in Levins' semi DQed. Sal's petition is rejected and he realizes Athletics Canada is not the USATF. Al then refuses to sanction the final as Rupp Certified and removes Levins from the final. Amid all the chaos, CPT storms the last 150, wins with the WC standard, and then parties until the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
You heard it here first.
What happended to McBride and Romaniw in the 800m semi's? no-shows. That does mean McBride is ineligible for Worlds?
Heard from other coaches MrBride is skipping worlds. Tired from college, wants to spend summer resting for Olympics next year. Might still run pan ams if they let him.
No word on Romaniw; probably the same deal.

Romo didn't race due to injury according to the Speed River twitter page
It will be a slow sit and kick race with Brannen 1st in 3:47 and Cam 3:48. As usual at Canadian Nationals no one will push the pace.
5th and 6th ..... wow , looked like a high school race.
Sit and kick.. that was a joke!
4:06 or something.. Awful.
4:06 ? for the win.
Grant Fisher probably could have won today if he was in the race.
i think kevin S could have won in his golf shoes.
Was that Centro who just won the Canadian 1500m? Oh my bad, it was Thomas Riva.
Brannen 5th, Levins 6th. Thomas Riva 1st, CPT 2nd, Dan Gorman with a nice run for third, and Jeremy Rae in fourth.
Looks like they were 2:12!!! at 700m with the leaders around 3:14.0 at the bell. Makes it a 51.x lap for the winner off of an absolute jog.
Brannen tried his same old jog-and-kick that he does every year at the Canadian championships and it finally caught up to him. Riva is a great racer and has run 3:38 or so this year. Chuck has a 3:54 mile under his belt. You can't treat these guys like the 3:42-3:45 guys that he usually races against at the Canadian Championships.
Wow. What was Brannen thinking?

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
