Only 2 Canadians (other than De Grasse) have the standard, but a couple more are very close to the standard and may very we'll get it this weekend.

Heard he just wants to focus on the 100m at World's. Assume he is doing both at Pan Am's (low key meet). Makes sense - can always try both next year for the Olympics. I assume Canada has a 4x100 that he will likely be on as well.
He's doubling up at the Pan-Ams, which is the better choice for several reasons:
- Home games (even his home province of Ontario) who will be promoted as its face
- Has a good chance to win the sprint treble (field not as deep) and become a national hero
- Gets his name in the Canadian consensus ahead of Rio
He's only doing the 100m and relay at Beijing and that's fine. He's still 20, so there's no rush at all.
