So I am running a 5K on a xc course next week. Two days ago I did a track session of 16x300m with ~60s recovery per 300. Times were as follows:
1-4 | 58.46 52.59 52.69 52.14
5-8 | 54.22 50.01 53.49 51.60
9-12 | 51.86 51.45 50.23 48.00
13-16 | 50.86 50.68 49.44 47.68
My PRs for the 1600, 3200, and 5K XC are about equally impressive, I don't have a particularly strong race. I will be a HS junior next year.
This workout was pretty hard, I could have done like 4-6 more if I wanted to but I didn't want to leave it all on the track.
I will follow up with my 5K time Wednesday or Thursday. Which one of you can guess closest to what I run? This is all the info I will give you; it's a challenge right?
