So I am in average shape for a 200m sprinter, aerobics wise, and I was thinking about switching to the 400 next track season (in 6 months). Right now I have a 0:58 time for my 400, which I know is not good, but I'm undertrained on the aerobic side. If I am very dedicated to my training over the next six months, do you think I could bring my 400m time down to about 50-51?
( I would classify my genetics for running to be on the better side, comparatively in my state and my school. My other times are listed below to use for reference.)
200m- 25
400m- 58
600yd- 1:27
800: 2:15
