Young athletes tend to suffer pulls or strains in the large muscles, this stuff sound like wear & tear/age.

...fear.
I think it's pretty obvious what is going on.
Due to actual drug testing now in Jamaica, Bolt is running scared. Meanwhile, Gatlin is on some new and sophisticated program and Bolt knows that he doesn't have a chance in hell of winning.
The Fork is in him. Too bad he didn't serve a 4-year ban, he coulda been running 9.52 age 33 lol
"He visited Doctor Müller-Wohlfahrt in Munich...Usain will spend the next couple of days in Munich getting"....shot-up?
Be afraid Gatlin; be very afraid.
"...case in-point: a "no-needles", policy. Really? What about all of the previously set World Records, including that for the Women's Marathon where the current record holder quite regularly embraced the administration of needled 'pharmaceuticals'?
Perhaps injured, otherwise some of his statistcis and other sprint articles could be find here.

I expect some of them like you
I've never had a reason to think that German doctor wasn't legit. He seems to be about the best there is. He actually understands running in terms of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones that have to work well to perform uninjured and optimally. Few doctors combine his knowledge of anatomy, running, and massage to be able to give real hands-on help the way he does. if I had Usain's money he's absolutely the doctor I would go to.
Why does he have to fly to Germany to treat common injuries? I think I'll go to Australia to see a doctor next time I get a cold.
What a surprise, they must be POd in Paris as it's his second last minute "no show" in a row...

... and calve's blood, and extractions from the crest of cockerels....and maybe some old-fashioned HGH slipped into those "hyperactive syringes" for good measure?
I'm sure they are disappointed but not pissed. What do people want him to do? Show up, run horribly. SHow up get even more injured. When all is said and done they might be relieved?
There really is nothing to be pissed about.
The fact of the matter is Bolt will give his appearance fee back. Imagine how much he's losing.
How much does Bolt get paid for something like Paris $250,000?
To have hiim show up and run badly would be a waste. To have him get injured would be even worse.
Here is the press release from Paris.
I do know one thing. It probably will hurt his marketing but I'll have way more respect for Bolt if he goes to Worlds and gets his butt kicked, maybe picks up a bronze in the 200, than if he skips the event entirely.
From Bolt's Website:
USAIN CANCELS PARIS AND LAUSANNE MEETS
30th June 2015 –
Six times Olympic Champion Usain Bolt today informed the organisers of the Paris and Lausanne Diamond League meetings that he will be unable to compete in their events on July 4 and July 9. The 28 year old Jamaican has been feeling discomfort in his left leg since his last competition which has restricted his training. He visited Doctor Müller-Wohlfahrt in Munich who confirmed that he has a blocked sacroiliac joint which is restricting his movement and putting pressure on his knee and ankle. Usain will spend the next couple of days in Munich getting treatment after which he will resume full training in his quest to defend his titles at the IAAF World T&F Championships in Beijing at the end of August. “I’m disappointed not to be able to compete in Paris and Lausanne. I love running at these meetings but at the moment I am unable to compete at 100%. I look forward to getting back into full training as soon as possible”, said Bolt.
Seems Gatlin is a lock for double gold at Beijing.

For the curious new to this, the "hyperactive syringes" term came from this URL:
http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/7324261/germany-dr-hans-wilhelm-muller-wohlfahrta-great-healer-quack-hyperactive-syringeIf I recall correctly, his use of HGH is mentioned in articles regarding his work with footballers.
Yeah we should just give Gatlin the WC gold medals now
I'm sick of this posturing. I'm here in Paris, and his mug is all over every poster in the city advertising the event. What a liar. There is no such thing as a "blocked" sacroiliac joint. Ridiculous.
Thank god we can trust you and your letsrun degree to provide us with sound medical advice.
It looks like Hans Wilhem Muhler-Wolhfart burned (in the long term) all of his patients, including Bolt, Paula Radcliffe, Ronaldo, and Bayern Munich footballers.
Dr. Muhler works in a "grey zone", like Alberto Zalazar, but more with homeopathic methods.

Are you trying to somehow be sarcastic, as the articles you cite do not draw such a bombastic conclusion.
I wonder whether he is still planning to set up clinics worldwide, and the special clinic in Brazil in prep for the upcoming Rio Olympics.
