Hi All,
Basically I've stopped competing for close to 2 decades and used to run mostly 800//1500 in my 20's I wouldn't have been great about a 2:02 and 4:17 pr's for 800/1500 didn't run many 1500's so would have expect that to be better.
I've always been fairly active since jogging around a few marathons , doing some mountain running etc
Just looking at what would be the best approach to get back to track in 2016 as I would now be a master. I do have a good few kg to drop before then and was thinking of training for a XC season in the winter to get a base in place and then some specific work in the spring.
Training at the moment is only 5 1 hours runs a week all easy and 2 x2.5 hours cycles in mountains.
Any thoughts?
