I don't think I saw a post about this, but I was impressed by how quickly and thoroughly Abbey has rounded into form this spring and figured this was worthy of recognition. Seems like not that long ago people were wondering if she was finished. Congratulations to her and the other qualifiers from today's races!
Dartmouth really showed up today in the form of Ben True, Will Geoheagan, and D'agostino! Thanks for pointing this out she really does deserve the shout out.
As much as I like and root for Abby, I thought her chances were slim for a top 3 given her form the last 6 months. Happy to see that she came through.
In May at Payton Jordan she ran her first race (5K) after cross training to recover from injury. She looked like she was struggling and ran in the 15:40's . So this is quite an amazing progression to come back and run a 5 second PR in less than 2 months.
Yes...great meet for Dartmouth... they had 5 runners at USA's and 2 are going to Worlds.

Never thought she was finished, but I didn't think she had a shot at top 3; I kind of saw Abbey as a better version of Angela B.
