Wearing their kit in 1500 final
For the last 3 years only Flanagan & Infeld have been the gals on the team.
For the last 2 years Infeld's been injured so it's just been Flanagan we've been hearing about.
Now, in quick order, Infeld's back on the beam while Silva, Squigs & Houli have signed on.
I think we'll see the men's team remain the same thru next year, maybe thru 2017 Worlds.
Then we'll see Teg & Solinsky officially retire.
Fernandez, Elliott Heath and Bumbalough likely will not have their contracts renewed unless they figure out how to stay healthy and start performing like pros should.
Lomong may call it quits or not have his contract renewed as well.
By 2018, I think we'll see a more balanced squad based on gender, something like 10 men/10 women. Years ago, Schumaker mentioned in an interview, that he would like to coach a team of that size, making it more like his Wisconsin men's xc teams from a decade ago.
On a related note, who will ever want to join NOP, assuming Salazar is still coaching, after all that's happened and likely will continue to happen? Regardless of how these drug accusations turn out, the longest lasting fallout will likely be the eventual demise of the NOP team as we now know it due to no one wanting to join.
Interesting , Shelby is the only one that is still working out and doing gym work with BTC .
