So I am a junior training for my senior year of track season. Our school has no XC and no reliable running coach so basically I am on my own in my training. MyPRs are 4:44 in the 1600 and 2:04 800. I bought the book Daniel's Running formula and am currently in week 4 of the first 6 week phase for the 1500-3000 meter training plan. Does this book really help? What are some tips for training on easy days? Right now I spend easy days on 45 minute or 30 minute E pace runs depending how I feel along with calisthenics or weight training later in the day. How has Daniel's Running Formula affected your race times? Any other tips are greatly appreciated
