TIm Hutchings is the best and he has been teamed with the inept Carrie Tollefson on the webcast. I never realized how bad she was until yesterday during the 100 heats. Even Hutchins seemed to be annoyed at times..

Couldn't disagree more. She really knows her distance stuff & I think she adds a lot.
Hutchings never seemed annoyed, to me. In fact, he seemed to be enjoying himself. I thought she did a very good job.
Not possible. No shrill screaming, no fat female Carl Lewis face, no shrill screaming.

Can't you process a track meet without commentators?
All Toffleson can really do is say "I know X distance runner personally" and sometimes call out people's names as they change positions. Other than that she usually gives inaccurate PRs or performance or unrelated anecdotes.
On the other hand, Dan O'Brien has added quite a bit to the broadcast today as I've watched the vault and sprint prelims.

I'm enjoying Dan's commentary, also.
Was she the one speaking all matter of factly??
It is Jager or Yager?
It's Jager. (speaking like she had a stuck up her butt.)
Jagers run the world leading 3:32 this year
...Yeah. At Portland! (as if he stole was she was going to say)
She just rubbed me the wrong way. I hope she starts, er, rubbing me the right way soon.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Carrie Tollefson has all her facts wrong. We were dying on how much she got wrong from athletes PR's, who coaches the athletes, what places they got in the past championships. She clearly only knows information about "Gabe" and it's annoying. She also can't pronounce words and names correctly because of her accent. It's crazy they lets her have this job.
This is Carrie:
"O there goes Gabe" "O there she goes" "O there he goes". She yells when someone starts to pick up the pace. How observant of her- haha
Not a chance Lewis left some big panties to fill.
BTH Hutching is getting more and more identifications wrong these days.
Hutchings sounds like he's drunk most of the time, and like someone's grabbed hold of his nutsack part of the time. When he makes mistakes, it's seemingly not because he doesn't know the right answer -- he just screws up the math or blurts out the wrong thing due to being inebriated at the mike. I prefer him to whatever he is when he's sober.

Tollefson is very nice, supportive of the athletes, and does a good job.
Lewis was an utter failure, a screeching mess.
I'm glad they got rid of her.
I'm sure Hutchings doesn't mind sharing the booth with her. No, not at all. But you guys are too hard on her.

You must not know your "distance stuff", because she gets, times, facts, coaches, and places wrong. It's terrible and embarrassing
I'm pretty sure Hutchings is the one who reads .03 seconds as "three one-hundredths of a second." UNFORGIVABLE.
Much better, appreciate how she tries to make it personal like we are having a conversation
Distance she does fine, every other event discipline she is painful.
