Looks like Krar is up in the lead through 30 miles. Alex Varner just dropped.

Varner dropped? Crazy. I wonder what's hurting. Seems like it was the heat. I'm rooting for Stephanie Howe and Ian Sharman.

but mostly on iRunFar's twitter feed. I'm predicting a lot more favorites drop from heat in the next 4 hours. I'm cheering for Wardian to move up though I know he's got no shot to win. Also cheering for the 2 ladies from DFW, Studer and Sattar. I wouldn't count Studer out yet.
I can't get the camera feeds from USL to work when the leaders are going through...
Magdalena Boulet is the second woman at the moment.
I'm not sure why varner dropped but i know in the last week he was having some injury'ish issues.
Krar has made a move and now has the solo lead. Sounds like Stephanie Howe still has the women's lead, with Magda gaining. Magda went off-course for two miles at some point early in the race.
Varner was having some kind of shin issues for the past two weeks or so

Go Magda! I want the road runner to take down Howe in her first 100.

Krar now 5 minutes ahead of course record pace with under 30 miles to go. Most of the top 10 I hadn't heard of; I'm surprised to see how many Europeans there are.

Probably not. She was a little late to the start because she was finishing up her 6th marathon of the day yesterday..
20 year old Jared Hazen the hometown hero! haha I used to run with this kid at cross country meets. Kid is legit.
Love Jared Hazen coming on strong. He'll be wrecked by the time he's 27, but love watching the really young ones, which there are more and more of in ultras, bump the mediocre 30-40 somethings closer to irrelevance.

Agreed. Also really impressed with Seth Swanson. I thought his race last year was an aberration, but he's looking really solid in 2nd.
Boulet took the lead 60 miles in now.
The top 10 women get a number for next year, which is a big deal.
Right now places 7-11 are all within 5 minutes of each other 55 miles in.
Boulet increases her lead to 7 minutes over Howe at 70.7 miles in.
Tight race for top 10 for women. Places 8-11 are within 6 minutes 62 miles in.

Hazen looking good for podium finish!
Krar is less than 3 miles from the finish, and he's right on CR pace! Gonna be really close.
BTW: Krar is wearing Nike LunarRacers.
