Solomon actually coasted in over the last 50 meters or so - he almost screwed up because he didn't see Jorgenson coming up until the last 20 meters or so. That said, maybe he will go out quickly, as in 49, but he will not come through in 1:14 - 1:15 at 600. He is engaging in bravado, just like his recent claim of running a 45.9 in practice is just bravado, an attempt to intimidate the field. Loxsom has much better 400 speed than people think, and this could come into play, provided Loxsom didn't blow his wad early with a 1:44.9 prelim.
