"Yesterday, the Associated Press reported that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency is investigating Salazar and that "more than a dozen witnesses have been interviewed and USADA is actively pursuing documents and other evidence from Salazar.'"
^THIS THIS THIS
Travis Tygart is in action. Lance Armstrong v2 here comes Salazar.
The article seemed terribly biased, which isn't surprising since they are trying to hold credibility to their initial report. Honestly the more I keep reading, the more I truly believe that Salazar is innocent..he addressed each and every point brought up in the BBC article and other points of controversy (abuse of TUE's) and had a somewhat reasonable explanation for every single point. I'm not a NOP fanboy by any means, but I feel entirely comfortable in saying that I'm on Salazar's side during this debacle.
In an interview, Brown said he did not prescribe a controlled substance for Salazar’s sons or other research subjects as part of an experiment. “No, absolutely not,” Brown said. “I didn’t do that, and would not do that. I would never do that.”
Salazar experiments on his sons was a decision made only by Salazar.
Epstein lands a huge blow in round 1. Salazar battles back a little in round two but Epstein gets the TKO in round 3!!Great stuff.A former Nike employee has come foward today and said Salazar's response was full of it:

Wearing blinders. 0/10
"A former Nike employee," eh? I'm really sick and tired of all this anonymous BS. If you can't put your name next to it, keep it to yourself.
Magness and... Jackie Areson told ProPublica and the BBC that they became close while working at the Oregon Project and did have a relationship after both parted from the Oregon Project. At that time, Areson also told ProPublica that Salazar distributed prescription painkillers “like it was candy” and that she “never let [Salazar] massage me because I knew he had the testosterone cream and didn't trust him.” In a follow up, Areson said that it was not “until the start of 2013 that we had a relationship, well after we had moved to Houston.”
BAM goes the hammer on Salazar's head.
Boom! ProPublica just dropped the mic! Their response is very thorough and lays bare all of the holes in Salazar's response.
Reading that rebuttal now. The IV thing not being addressed? Address it now.
Was Andy V. on to something when he went off about someone on his team getting an IV of fluids before a big race?
Running should not have IVs for dehydration. You get de-hydrated, too bad, your fault, you don't race. Period.
Epstein just crushes it.So much stuff that Salazar didn't respond to or tried to act like he responded to. Like asthma.
Yep. Salazar never addressed that or how Fleshman was told to use it in a manner not prescribed.
And of course the Cytyomel stuff. Salaazar acted like Kara Goucher lied about the handwritten prescription drug bottle (which she kept) by getting the doctor to say he gave her a prescription for it. One thing they failed to mention, it was a totally date. Nice try Alberto.

Yep:
Epstein wrote:
In one email Magness provided to ProPublica, Salazar noted that an inhaler would be sent back to an athlete who was prescribed it after it had been borrowed in case another athlete needed it. In the email, Salazar wrote: Magness “is going to send you your inhaler, we never needed it for that Nike athlete. Thx for bringing it!”

I was just about to post this myself. Epstein has more. Much more. It was a huge mistake on AlSal's part to go after Magness and Areson the way he did. Now we have the following people - on the record, explicitly - accusing Salazar of running a doping program.
1. Magness
2. Kara Goucher
3. Adam Goucher
4. Areson
5. Laruren Fleshman
6.Stiner
7. Kupczak
In addition:
Lanana didn't contradict Fleshman's account of their conversation.
And Epstein didn't require 2 weeks to respond.
Epstein's rebuttal is good. There are no opinions included like Salazar's.
Just statements and reasoning. This is a chess match. But getting USADA into it is HUGE.
Looks like the PR trolls punched out for the day. They'll be back tomorrow around 8AM.
And yeah... Epstein for the effing win!
Salazar is going to get banned for life. No athletes will be sanctioned. The sport we love will be much better.
Wouldn't say crushes it. Epstein keeps saying a source said. I'm not seeing proof and it's total bs that Epstein is pretending that the "mutual termination" letter (which has been destroyed on the post below). The fact that Epstein started with same naive or intentionally misleading mutual termination bs that Matt Lawton at the tabloid Rhw Daily Mail used to defend his charges is telling. Epstein has packaged what sources said and Alberto provided a lot more evidence and detail. Epstein was certainly self-important in thinking that for some reason Salazar was only responding to his story ( e.g., TUEs were certainly raised by other stories recently) and he was selective in addressing the evidence and charges Salazar presented.
Definitely not too impressive by Epstein, just continue with the "sources" said and hoping that does it.

Just because it's been 30 seconds since someone posted something in support of NOP doesn't mean that there is a PR firm working for NOP. You're f'ing delusional.
Yes, Epstein's response was solid. It chips away at the ground that AlSal had gained with his open letter. That said, AlSal is still on top here. There are a few unanswered questions, but for the most part, he's in the clear unless Epstein has NEW information, which I don't think he does.
As for AlSal getting "banned for life," you're delusional once again. There isn't much evidence (or even accusations, really) of doping violations.
Bloody tabloids...gutter press...oh, hang on a sec...

8am UK time. Looks to see the time when the pro-NOP flood beings anew.
You guys are idiots.
The article shows nothing else. Are you kidding? Will someone unbiased please post...all the ones commenting are against NOP.
Honestly, now it is all he said she said. There is nothing there to put NOP or Sal away. The idea to go along with this investigation was complete crap. It has just continued to ruin our sport and make it a circus.
If after reading Sal's response, and not having more of a middle ground on this, you are just bias. I'm not saying you can't think it's strange or something is going on...but to completely say Sal's response meant nothing, you are simply looking for blood.
