Case against NOP, anyone remember Treniere Moser skipping drug test?

Correction, Jenny Simpson was the best US women's 1500m runner in 2013 not Treniere Moser, but Simpson didn't compete in the US trails because she was the previous WC women's 1500m champion.

Yes, that incident did cross my mind as this story has developed.

I've always been suspicious of Moser, but after reading the thread mentioned above, I'm not so sure. That thread starts with exactly the same worry as the OP -- what if TM dropped out of the Worlds to avoid a drug test she knew she would fail. It moves on to claims that her dropping out is especially suspicious as there's been no hint of her having a problem before the worlds.

Then there's this little gem, from one of the most shameless NOP supporters on LRC, a guy who goes by "Rojo:"

As for her being healthy before the Worlds, she ran very badly in the two races before Moscow. She was DFL in a 1500 in Monaco, and then was DNF in her next race, a 3000 in London. Here's a description of that race:

She was with the leaders in that race with a lap to go, and on the backstretch she seemed to be in the hunt for the win, kicking with the best of them. She then dropped out somewhere between 300m and 200m to go.

Dropping out at such a late stage in the race, in the middle of the finishing kick, with not much of the race left, makes a lot of sense given a hamstring injury.

Finally, as many posters pointed out, if she was indeed dropping out to avoid a drug test, it didn't make sense for her to go to Moscow, where she'd have plenty of chances of getting tested.

Does anyone remember 2 years ago where there were rumors of centro failing a test. Instead of coming out saying no. He states he wants to " dispel any ugly rumors". On Twitter .

It would not have been a failed test. More likely a questionable test result with paperwork provided showing TUEs were used, or that something to throw the testers off, like 'legal' Testoboost, was the source of the problem.

For having a hamstring injury more than one person saw her doing squats and squat lunges in the weight room the following day with her strength coach. I'm surprised that didn't make it into the documentary.

If you know the details, if is fairly obvious that Moser's injury was legit. She had been having problems with her hammy before Moscow and you have to ask yourself why would she even go to Moscow. Taking test and passing them has never been an NOP problem.
