Who's to say what the interviewer is looking for, what if the head track coach wants someone to dress the part, why wouldn't you dress the part? Are you going to wear a suit everyday? Does a basketball player wear a suit to his tryout? no. Does a investments analyst wear a suit to his interview? Yeah because that's how he goes to work everyday. Show professionalism by not wearing sweat pants and a hoodie, but a nice polo/button down and jeans/slacks is always a great option in a coach setting.
This is stupid, stupid advice. So, you're supposed to guess what the the interviewer might want you to wear? What if you get it "wrong"?
Suit every time time for interviews, like the other guy said
