I ran my last marathon in October 2014 at Marine Corps in 4:16. I have since been running a lot and getting faster, which is exciting! I never thought making qualifying for Boston could be a realistic goal, but based on some of my times recently in shorter races I'm starting to think it might be and wanted to ask the opinions of some more experienced runners.
This spring I have run a 6:43 mile, 23:29 5k, and 1:17:30 10 miler. I am 25 years old,120 lbs and 5'3. I am running the Richmond Marathon in November. My qualifying time is 3:35. Is this realistic? Training tips? I've recently just been running about 30 miles a week to build a base and trying to do one speed and one tempo workout a week since I have a long way out from the race.
