lol at the 6 10# plates in pic 5
thats 105# total. weak sauce.
looks like a semi-muscular concentration camp survivor.
I sometimes forget just how lean these guys are. Good stuff
Also they say he doesn't read the message boards and that there are no legitimate accusations on here. Was Salazar taking a shot at Rupp-Certified Saladbar?
Where is that gym in Park City? I don't recognize it. Definitely byu's track, however.

lol even more at what he does with those six plates. We're not talking cleans or CNJ. He's doing 1-leg isolation QUARTER SQUATS. Not close to parallel. Can he even bench the bar?
Pathetic, even for a distance runner. 85 pound female gymnasts can do better than that.
The weight stuff is stupid, and doesn't help them at all.
I bet the Oregon Project guys are crying themselves to sleep at night from these criticisms.
Probably only comforted by their nine combined championship medals.
Why are those 10# plates the size of 45s? Are they plastic?
I see glimpses of Rowbury and Moser but no Hasay or Cain.
They are also absent on the Prefontaine starting lists
Anyone know what's up with them?

Yes but can those gymnasts compete on equal footing with the EAs?
Looking at those pictures is even more proof that I spent all my formative years, and then some, in the wrong sport. There is no way I could have ever gotten that lean. One of the reasons why I was capable of lifting several gymnasts.
I forget the name but there is a special kind of plate for olympic lifts that is super bouncy. if you drop it will bounce and not break like a normal plate.
Because championship medals in athletics are so highly valued by the world's population. Everyone is jealous of these lab rats.

With thyroid meds you could.
I used to knock these guys, but I now have to say that it is commendable they're looking for things to become the best in the world. Jerry Schumacher should be looking for different training protocols like Salazar does and start thinking about the world scene instead of just best in America because of the contract money he has ro recruit.
Why no criticism of Schumacher? It is no different then him dominated Big 10's and flopping at NCAA's!
