Good!
Get these thugs off the streets.
Too bad you can't read, spell, or learn how to use copy+paste.
Actual headline:
"Johnny Depp faces possible 10-year prison sentence for bringing dogs to Australia"
Austria, Australia... whatever.
I'm guessing he'll just pay the quarter mill fine. If he can somehow afford that.
The question perhaps is how he managed to smuggle them in. Maybe Richard Gere gave him some tips.

Are you kidding? Somehow afford that? He's Johnny Depp.
Do you know how hard Australia and New Zealand lobby the Film Industry to film in their locales? Don't you realize that something like this would never happen?
This is about as stupid an "article" as I have ever read. MSN? I'll tell you what happened: someone at the hearing brought it up and everyone laughed about it. Then the reporter went out and looked up the harshest penalty one might face for animal smuggling and threw it in the article.
This is what journalism has devolved to over the past few years. Clicks are king.

Yes I am kidding, however he is getting divorced.
Wouldn't you imagine that island nations have particularly strict rules on the introduction of flora and fauna that aren't indigenous to their country?

It is NOT his choice.
My guess is the judge will realize 250k is not much of a punishment for someone that rich and give him 5 years in jail.
This happened to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his domestic violence case, when the judge told Mayweather the maximum fine I am allowed to give you, is chump change for you, so I am giving you time in jail (I believe Mayweather served 3 months in jail).
He'll just run back to France like he did after River Phoenix died....

It's a bit late what with the dingo and all.
Australia is concerned about rabies, nothing more.
Rabies is an imaginary disease.
