Shame it will just be another sit and kick

Unless if the pacemakers do there job and 1 or 2 of the Kenyans is up for the pace, Farah is just going to control the whole race. Undoubtedly Farah and Tanui headline the race but other than that not to many other well known guys. Hopefully though it will be a good race with a quick time.
If Kamworor does what he says he will, then he'll sit in right behind the pacers and push the pace once they drop out. Hopefully he'll make Farah work for it
Yup, as expected, the field was picked to make sure Farah had the best PR to make sure he maximizes the victory potential. Typical.

I thought they only did that when he races in the UK ? c'mon ppl make up your mind, at least be consistent with it
From the 2015 WCCChttp://www.iaaf.org/news/report/world-cross-guiyang-senior-men-kamworor
Kamworor was the first to show at the top of the first ascent in the opening 400 metres of the opening lap, and the world half-marathon champion was seldom out of the top two for the rest of the race.
I'd like to see Kamworor run the same type of race at Pre and kick Farah's butt.
Ummm, do you know who runs the Pre meet? Hint: The meet has a Swoosh in front of the name.

well to be fair how many active 10k guys have a faster PR than Farah?
The complete field is a lot deeper than what the OP posted:

His pal Galen Rupp who was selected by their common coach and meet organizer to run the 5k instead of the 10k.
So you basically saying ;The organizers of every single Farah race make sure the field is watered down so Mo is assured a victory whether he is racing in Bali Indonesia or Bogota Columbia ?? GTFO of here with that non sense , buds

You sir are a troll and a bad one at that. It is standard practice for coaches at any level to avoid having their runners (training partners) race against each other often during the season.
I included Farah, the top Kenyans and USA/Levins
The full field is also in the link, which was previous to my posting of the field
Where are the Ethiopians ? did they give up on the 10k?
You agree with yourself then, Tony the Tiger? Rupp should be in the 10k.
Yes, no Ethiopians. Someone else noticed that glitch.

Why should Rupp be in the 10k? Because you say so? It's not like he is dodging the competition, as the 5k could very likely be won in under 13 minutes. Also keep in mind this is Rupp's season opener, whereas Farah has already raced; a further reason Salazar might not want them going head-to-head right now.
Ummm, possibly because Rupp has a faster 10k PR than anyone entered in the 10K.

Mo Farah (Great Britain) 26:46.57
Josphat Kipkoech Bett (Kenya) 26:48.99
Paul Kipngetich Tanui (Kenya) 26:49.41
Emmanuel Kipkemei Bett (Kenya) 26:51.16
Kenneth Kiprop Kipkemoi (Kenya) 26:52.65
Geoffrey Kirui (Kenya) 26:55.73
Titus Kipjumba Mbishei (Kenya) 26:59.81
Geoffrey Kamworor (Kenya) 27:06.35
Teklemariam Medhin (Eritrea) 27:16.69
Cameron Levins (Canada) 27:27.96
Diego Estrada (USA) 27:32.90
Hassan Mead (USA) 27:49.43
Seeing this field I may have to withdraw my earlier promise to go streaking if Levins breaks the white man barrier and If the winner goes very fast. Before the Orympucs ferrah went 26:4high with pacing by Bronze champion lingosiwa abs dees field stronger more endurance guy performance so I am not strip because anything possible.

So what you're saying is that you are upset that Rupp is going against people faster than him (in the 5k), and that you would rather see him in a race where he is the fastest (by PR anyway)? No wonder pros stay off these boards, people posting here are ridiculous. If runners enter races where they are the fastest, they are accused of dodging the competition. If they enter ones where they aren't, they get ridiculed.
