I ran 45.61 miles. I walked 16 miles. Many small hills (about 1 per 1K).
Sunday 10K 43:24. 2k walk. Monday Hurdle Drills. 10K in 41:58. 2K walk.
Tuesday with a group. The runners were from Costa Rica, South Africa, Australia and USA that I trained with.
11.56 miles total. The session was 4 sets of 1200 meters with 90 seconds and then 400 meters with 3 minutes. (Averages 3:58.41 and 65.76). I did not feel well but I wanted to finish the practice. I ran OK. I walked 2 miles.
Wednesday the 20th I walked 5K.
Thursday. Hurdle Drills (I missed them on W). 10.44 miles total. Only running on the track was the 16 X 100m with 300m jogs. I was strong! I ran fast 100s and recoveries.
Friday 10.4K in 47:51.
Saturday in some wind and rain. I ran 4.72 miles total. I ran 800 meters. I wanted faster but anyway. My age grade time is 1:44.80 so that's good.
Splits 28.22/ 30.58/ 29.95/ 27.71. (58.80)(57.66).
It's been difficult here because there is some flooding. I haven't been able to run the dirt roads in 2015 like I want to do. I think only about 6 times but certainly less than 10 that I can remember right now.
Soon I'm going to check on the house in Malibu (a cousin's son lives there while attending Pepperdine). I will probably try only 2 long runs this week. I hope to run a 20 miler.
I plan to race 4 or more times during June. In July I may try a 2000 ST and a 3000 ST just to experience it because I have never run the steeplechase before. I keep my records on my site and I will not write here for a while because it takes up too much time.
