I listened to that NPR show, and disagreed with some of the people commenting at the end. They said sneaky introverted people would pick invisibility and extroverts would pick flight. Well, I am sneaky and introverted (ie a runner)and would much rather fly....yes there's voyeuristic kicks at first, but not sure I really want to know what I would find out if invisible. And you'd make $$$ from flying celebrity just as much as the invisibility trick.
Actually my pick for superpower would be neither. I'd rather just be able to 'beam' anywhere (with conditions of course).
I'm with you on that; thought they were thinking about it too hard. Also didn't buy the girl who almost started crying... Emo much?
I would choose flying. I don't really consider myself sneaky and introverted, but I just don't see much use in being invisible. You could sneak into women's locker rooms I guess, but would be fun like one time. I'd rather just go to a strip club.
Someone said something about watching famous people have sex. I don't even think I'd want to do that. I mean, that is kind of lame.
The other examples were to spy on people at work/social circle to see what they say behind your back. That just sounds sad.
Flying is awesome.
