A little surprised to see that the East women distance and mid distance is significantly better than the West.
In the 800m, 1500m, 3000m SC and 5000m the East is a lot better.
The 10,000m is the only distance event in which the 48th qualifier is faster in the West, which could simply be attributed to much better 10,000m competition opportunities and weather in the West.
The 48th mark in the east, in the west would be ranked:
26th in the 800m
38th in the 1500m
34th in the 3000m SC
41st in the 5000m
A bit surprising since the west is usually thought of as better in distance. I think this has been the trend the past two years though.
