I accidentally (don't ask how) came across this whiskey dick study, and learned that if you drink a lot of alcohol it will expand vessels and increase blood flow, so then technically it accomplishes the same thing as icebaths right?

Anyone have any experiences with drinking and running? Personally, on some days after I've had a lot to drink I've actually felt pretty good on runs and had a unusual low heart rate. I ran my 1:21.7 600m pr hungover and underslept. Didn't the tarahumara indians also drink a lot of beer on nights before long runs?
