You will find a lot of people with the same experience on other forums as opposed to a load of bs. like run 200 mpw, on this forum.
The are a lot of factors but my guess is 5:30-5:40 based on weight-loss alone, with a moderate training volume varying in the range of 30-40 mpw.
I'd be worried if you did more than that over the first 12 months.
After that you can start more serious training based on how your body adapts to the training.
Thanks Randy. Much appreciated
Find some kind of cross training that works for you. I wouldn't run over 25 - 30 miles a week until you drop 15 - 20 pounds. Too much weight to be pounding.
Keep your cross training intensity high and start doing one high intensity, short interval workout a week. This will jumpstart your metabolism. I imagine the rest of your runs will be slog fests for a month or two. Eventually your runs will feel better and this is what you should focus on.
Eat nothing but chicken breasts and fresh veggies and fruit. No sauces, use seasoning for added flavor.
Good luck
I ran 6:02 at 200lbs.
2s per lb per mile
45lbs x 2 = 90s, new time of 5:30

He's not boasting, a$$ hat. He has given the community his starting point as of right now and asking where he might end up, given the stated weight loss.
I am 5'10" and 3 months ago I was 202 lbs. In 68 days, I lost 28 lbs and made it to my goal weight of 174 lbs. Whenever I 1st starting running 3 months ago I ran a time trial 1600m on the track in 6:59. I haven't yet raced a mile yet, races in July, but I think I am in 5:30ish shape right now.
I have no reason not to think you could have similar results, but I'm not sure about the last 20lbs. I'd guess sub 5 though.

Oh yes what a nice handle to support your claim...

Haagen Dazs vanilla with fresh penuche sauce, b.i.d.
I am thinking you should be able to get close to 5 minute pace. Maybe 5:10-5:15
Honestly, I really didn't do much to lose the weight. I stopped eating ice cream every day, ate 2 baby carrots, 2 grapes and 2 strawberries every lunch, and ran 20-30 minutes a day. 6 of the lbs I lost was due to the Flu which certainly helped.
