It really is.
I heard the other day somebody say that the MLB is the cleanest sport because it's the "post-steroid era." This made me laugh. Aside from the 60-70 home runs per-season, all categories have improved and players continue to perform at superhuman levels. (Oh, and they have their own Justin Gatlin, his name is Nelson Cruz and after serving his meager 50-game suspension, he's now leading the league in HRs, has 30 rbis and a BA of .340)
The NFL is rife with PEDS, cycling is back on the sauce (Team Sky,anyone??), the NBA barely tests for ANYTHING, and soccer is an EPO haven. Heck, even golf is rife with it (just look at Tiger's loss of muscle mass, Rory's transformation and Mickelson sporting new guns at 44). Contrary to what people on these boards may say, T&F is cleaner than ever. Don't expect any records from the 90s to be broken, maybe never. Gone are the inhuman times of the El Gs, Komens, Bekeles, Morcelis and the like. Compared to the other main sports, T&F is squeaky clean.
