2 years ago, Adam Palamar ran 3:38.92 as a junior. That was faster than Fernandez, Sullivan, Knight, Trautman, Andrews, Jager... (insert North American name here other than Ryun, Webb and Byers) ran at the same age. I mean, people are still talking about Fernandez and he was not as fast as Palamar as a Junior...
Palamar was injured last year. He ran a 4:10 mile and that was about it... Over the winter he ran a 3:59 mile and didn't qualify for NCAA.
This spring, he's run 3:41 at Occidental (winning his heat) and also ran a 1:49 PR. Over the weekend, he won his conference champ at 1500.
Is he back? Can he challenge for a win at NCAA?
