My top 3 are:
Stephen a smith - race baiter
Michael Wilson - racist and dumb
Sage Steele - complete idiot
Time for those 3 to go

Is Keith Olberman on ESPN? Man, I can't stand him. So condescending and arrogant.
Stephen A. is a close second.
If you mean "Wilbon" instead of "Wilson" then I am seeing a pattern.
In my opinion the only good shows are Mike & Mike, PTI, and Cowherd. The rest are only fair at best.
Any list omitting Jemele Hill is absurd. Affirmative action at its absolute worst with that no-talent hack.

I'll substitute Around the Horn for Cowherd.
The 30 for 30's are generally very good but Simmons just left so I don't know if we'll see any more of those shows produced.

I agree with tycobb. (And in the same order.) All three shows are great, especially Mike & Mike.
I can't stand the pompous Stephen A, Smith. He makes Skip Bayless look humble. Not an easy task.
Skip Bayless is the obvious answer here and that is totally because he is the very worst.
Anyone that has anything solely to do with the NFL is pretty awful too. They all take themselves waaaaay too seriously. They would actually be mad that I said NFL and not "NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE" which they all say full out in every sentence.
"You have to be able to RUN THE FOOTBALL in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE."
"The LEFT OFFENSIVE TACKLE is quickly becoming the key position in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE."
"Every team is banged up in December, that's when it all about HEART in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE."
An especially nauseating subset of the NFL overkill is the ESPN NFL Draft coverage.
Special mention goes out to Jeremy Schaap for the annoying way that he says "ESPN". Like he's some 1950s radio guy with his cheesy emphasis or something. It always reminds me of the scene in Private Parts when Pig Vomit is trying to teach Howard Stern how to pronounce WNBC. Just watch the clip if you don't rememeber:

LOL, remember when he was on MSNBC talking about politics? Even the most blatantly leftist mainstream news outlet booted him off. Glad to see he was downgraded back to sports "journalism."

If I remember correctly how Schaap says "ESPN", I think he got it from his dad. Sounds a lot like him, in terms of style.
I thought we had all agreed that it was Skip Bayless. Others named here may be quite terrible but they cannot be the worst as long as Skip is around. What kind of name is that for an adult anyway?
I'm sure they are all much much worse people than Britt McHenry:
Hahaha!!!! So true!!!
Jemelle Hill is the worst by far...biggest race baiter on the tv
My immediate thought was Skip Bayless.

Mine too. Or Berman. Wilbon is indeed irritating. There are so many bad ones.
Olberman is at least smart, and IMO funny. I like his style of humor even though I don't share his political views.
I can't believe anyone likes Mike & Mike. They are empty corporate suits. They are a 3h long ESPN commercial for ESPN . Barf. They are truly brutal.
I quit watching that garbage network years ago. The first time they did the top ten worst plays of the day was the beginning of the demise of a once good for sports network.
Skip is the worst and everyone who is on First Take with him is much worse when interacting with Skip than they are on their own. So, Skip is not only horrible, but he makes everyone around him worse.
Also, Mark May actually gives Skip a run for his money. If Mark May isn't fired soon (and maybe he already has been, I don't really watch ESPN anymore so I dunno) then I think he will eventually pass Skip as the worst.
But really, the corporate big wigs at ESPN are to blame because I know that they coach some of their "personalities" to act like jackholes in order to get a reaction out of people so they watch more. I don't think they actually have to coach Skip though, that's just who he is. Woody Paige was always awful, but I think he is gone or at least shoved in a much smaller role these days.
Only guy I really like is Scott Van Pelt.
I watch an occasional sports event on that trash low life network but I watch no "shows".
Bayless and Smith.
Olberman is over the top but interesting and not to be taken too seriously.
The other poster is right, Mike and Mike is a commercial.
The network has gone downhill. I started following other sports just to get away from all the NFL over seriousness.
Darren Rovell - annoying, corporate schill and contributes nothing of substance.
Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith - obvious reasons
Trent Dilfer - thinks he's god's gift to the quarterback position in THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
So many more but those are immediate channel changes for me.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
