I'm assuming they did SOMETHING, but was it on their hotel treadmills or at the Oxy track. And does anyone know what the workout was?

5K Treadmill race at the hotel according to their Facebook page
They'd have burnt that treadmill out. Imagine joe-business-traveler making his way down to the gym to putz thru a couple miles and seeing NOP killing it on the treadmill. That'd be a funny scene.

Treadmills would make sense. They could have their centro sauce infused through an IV drip stand at the same time.
I posted this on the official HOKA meet thread, but how were they able to do a 5k "race" on these hotel treadmills? Most treadmills go a max of 12mph (5:00/mile pace). That's considerably slower than what they would run for a 5k.
The treadmills in my apartment complex "fitness center" go up to 15 mph.
Just saying.

What else do treadmills do that might allow them to still race hard?

My guess is the "race" line was a joke.

That's cool. Every treadmill I've seen at the chain fitness clubs (24 Hour, LA Fitness, etc.) only seem to go up to 12mph. I'm just guessing that ones in hotel fitness rooms would do the same, since I doubt they get much use at that speed or faster.

Well, obviously they could crank up the elevation grade, but that would hardly mimic a TRACK 5k...
I hope they wore spikes for this. Nothing's worse than people using a serious treadmill 5K race as a workout.

Wow... Can the NOP be more self absorbed....
Look at us!!! It's lightning but we still run. Seriously the NOP needs to go away.

That's pretty risky business. I don't think that the treadmill on the right was Rupp certified.

It's a fvckin marketing gimmick Instagram account, dude. I know you are a resident moron here, but can you seriously be any more self involved?!
I think I figured out what is up with Mary's races. She was running faster than Rupp, right?
Yikes, looks like Cain is struggling to keep up with the treadmill.
levins looks fit

Why wouldn't he look fit? He's been running 200 miles a week for the past six years.
