This could be an interesting outing to watch, with Costello and Krumpoch there too. Can one of them beat Abbey right now? Costello was pretty fit indoors.
Good! She needs to shake things up and speedier races are a good way to do that.

Yes interesting to me also...Krumpoch is a 400M runner who moved up to the 800M with great success. I don't think she has ever run a 1500 so I wouldn't expect a fast time...but I think the 1500 is where she has the most potential.

I will get back in more detail at the end of the season, but for now, at the elite level I see Abbey as a project in that success isn't going to come right away. Part of the problem is the U.S. has over half dozen 4:05 1500, sub-15 5000 and sub-32 10K. If she can get back to her PRs from 2 years ago will be a good sign.
