Back ground:
i'm 19 years old and a college freshman. Due to many injuries in the last year i've hardly done any running.
I've decided just for some fun to try and run a 10:39 3200, and I am giving myself 10-15 weeks to achieve this goal.
the last 12 weeks i've averaged roughly 10-15MPW and i'm in about 11:50-12:00 3200 shape which i think is solid considering before the 12 weeks i took 3 months completely off of running due to a stress fracture.(and before this i ran 10-20mpw all summer, and in the spring before that i was injured again, so no running then either)
My PR's are 5:14,11:13 and 17:43. i could go into a lot of depth as to why they aren't faster but i'll save you guys the time.
I know it's a long shot to achieve this goal but i just want to do something to motivate myself to get in good shape again. Most of my Pr's are from when i was 16/17 so i'm assuming just because i'll have matured two years i can get back down to them quickly.
I'll be updating this log everyday, so join me on my journey to run a 10:39 3200!
