So, everyone in my office reads this thread every day. That's at least 20 people. Only 2 of us are runners. So, Mike, I took a poll, and here are the results:
16 people asked: "Is Mike or Letsrun.com winning"
Mike: 0 votes
Letsrun: 16 votes
Thought I would share. Happy running, Mike!!!!
Then they know how useless you are.

That was great.
Let me add that I had always wanted to run Boston. That dream is now over After watching Mike parade around in all that BAA gear. And because of Mike, even if I did run Boston, I would never wear BAA clothes. Whenever I see someone wearing BAA gear I immediately think of Rossi.
To me, Rossi ruined Boston. And I think Barb McKeever and Bart Yasso are also to blame for that

No DQ.
Failure.
DQ is irrelevant. Your repetitive posts are indicative of a very limited amount of brain cells.
Countless people have done things without getting 'official' punishment/dq. Not only in sports. Even if there is no 'official' dismissal: The legacy stays.
You can reason that 'No DQ' is also 'not done anything wrong' all you want, it is simply not true. Individuals can sometimes get carried away with that, thinking that when they do not get caught 'officially' they thus have done nothing wrong. This causes a huge problem in their social environment.
Humans are social animals. We also live through the eyes of others. Everybody cares to a certain extent how he is perceived. When individuals are perceived in a way that does not match with their own warped reasoning, something will have to give.
In this case here: The people who know about Mike's behavior lately will have a negative opinion of the guy. This will not change. Mike's attempts to reverse that will be fruitless. Unless he comes clean, that is. Since the community will not change it's opinion, Mike will have to live with that and he will be the one with this shit on his conscience. He will have to give in some way or another.
After 20,000 posts: nothing.
I hope this goes to 30,000 so it shows how useless your efforts are.
LOL congrats Mikey, you're famous

Good article.
The ridiculing of Jack Rossi ("he wrote a letter to the elementary school which his twin daughters attend") was a unnecessary, but I liked "he has cemented his place in running lore as something tantamount to a megalomaniacal criminal".

Ok, buddy. If you don't get it, that's fine.

Mike brought this on his family. They get everything he deserves.

I agree. But making fun of his son's sexual orientation? Not so classy.
"And when they google my name they'll see that their father was wrongly accused of cheating but CLEARED by the VIA Marathon."
If it were my father who posted this and I one day came across it, I would find this quote to be far more insulting than anything that Ken Stillman has posted. Ken's comments can be shrugged off as the ranting of some deranged stranger, but having my own father post that he believes that I lack the cognitive abilities to see the truth here... that would really sting.
I mean, how dumb would a person need to be to do any kind of research into these cheating allegations and side with Mike's version of events? The only people who believe Mike are those who haven't looked at any of the evidence against him and are willfully ignorant because they agreed with his letter to the principal. If Mike were my father, I would definitely be digging deeper into the story to see if there was any validity to the accusations.
Grimes probably wrote it under a pseudonym.

Fixed that for you.
1. Interesting how the other guy with the same name (who made questionable running achievement claims) as the confessed MCM cheater also fell off the radar after MCM guy came clean.
2. The infamous Kip Litton, although never admitting cheating despite overwhelming evidence, was eventually smart enough to lay low and let the embers die. Ironically he at the time had no problem breaking 3:25 or 20:00.
3. Did anything ever come of this guys dec 12 tweet of "I admit. I messed up."??

That's probably the closest he gets to a confession right now.
